With theXcellon USB 3.2 Gen 1 Hard Drive Dock, you can quickly expand your storage capacity while skipping the time and energy needed to install an internal drive. Instead, you can simply slip a 3.5" SATA III hard drive (HDD) or 2.5" solid-state drive (SSD) into the top loading bay, connect the dock to an available USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 compatible computer system with the included cable, and you're ready store a library of photos, videos, and other important files.

 

Supporting up to an 18TB HDD or 8TB SSD, this drive dock is an ideal solution for adding low-cost, high-capacity internal drives to systems that don't have any available internal bays. It also allows you to get more use out of old internal drives for backups and archiving. With hot swapping support, you can switch out drives without having to shut down or restart your computer. This dock is designed to work with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems without having to download additional drivers.
